Building a Business Plan

There is a step in the process of launching your own IPV that few people talk about. Everyone mentions the marketing plan but before you can get to marketing you have to get your business right. Remember, the moment you decide to publish independently you are now operating a business with expenses, assets, budgets, etc. The business plan is your blueprint for success. It’s where everything you’ve been thinking about crystallizes.

And guess what? You don’t need a MBA to put one together. You just need the same skills you are already putting in place to start your organization: creativity, resourcefulness, drive, flexibility, and work ethic.

TPC is making this even easier for you. Behold for your viewing pleasure the template for our business plan. (Powerpoint)

Below find the types of considerations you have to fill in before you even think about producing your book:

◘ The Team
◘ Mission Statement
◘ Market Summary
◘ Opportunities
◘ Business Concept
◘ Goals and Objectives
◘ Resource Requirements
◘ Key Issues
◘ Financial Plan

If you can’t answer these questions you may find yourself on a long dark road with no flashlight and no map. Let there be LIGHT!

I filled out the business plan and hit the forward arrow and the whole thing was gone. Did I lose it. I can’t find it on my desktop.
